The word "weather" is translated in Spanish as "clima" or "tiempo", both refer to atmospheric conditions. "Tiempo" refers to the temporary atmospheric conditions of a certain region, it can vary in days, hours or minutes. "Clima" refers to the normal atmospheric conditions of a region over a long period of time.
As a reference to use one and the other of these words, we must bear in mind that a meteorologist predicts "el tiempo".
