DELE (Diploma de Español Como Lengua Extranjera) is the official exam of the Spanish language granted by Instituto Cervantes from Spain to obtain an official level according to the levels of competence established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
DELE diplomas are internationally recognized, they have great prestige among public and private educational institutions and authorities, also in the business world as well as among chambers of commerce. They are an official guarantee in the evaluation and certification of language proficiency in Spanish.
In many countries, DELEs have been adopted by educational authorities and regulated educational establishments as a complement to their own assessment programs. They are ideal to facilitate job promotion and access to education in Spain, as well as in the other countries where the tests are carried out.
